and we're live...registration is OPEN!





We are so excited! Today is the day....Registration is OPEN & the first 50 people to sign up get $50 off! You'll see the Registration Button up on the right side of our side bar. look. up there! see it?

Now...you can click on it & you'll be taken to PayPal where we will be accepting all funds. **remember, this is a non-refundable ticket.**
If you've never used PayPal before, here's a screen shot so you can see what it will look like & what you'll need to do.

As you can see, you can pay with any credit card & you're set!

For a review on everything the $300 includes:

-Yummy Goodie Bag at registration. Not goodies to eat (though those will be there too), but sparky, amazing, fun, eye-candy goodies... :)

-Ticket price also includes Full Kits with all the supplies for the classes and let me tell you, they will be fabulous! (You will only be asked to bring your basic tools and a list of those will be given to you after you've bought your ticket to the event. These tools will, mostly likely, be stuff you already have on hand)

-And it also includes your food, which is:

Friday:
Registration begins at 12:00 where we will have finger foods and drinks
Dinner
Snacks and drinks through out the day

Saturday:
Mid-morning snack
Lunch
Dinner
Snacks and drinks though out the day
(your hotel stay is extra.)

**Note: if you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can make sure we are feeding you the kind of energy you need!

So, your Event Ticket will get you everything you need aside from travel.

If you are local, you're set.


If you are coming from out of town, you'll have some extra costs:

  • You will need to get a hotel: Marriott has a great deal ONLINE only at $79.99 a night. (if you call it's $89.99.) They will have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel & then a shuttle from the hotel to This is The Place. So, you wouldn't need a car unless you really wanted one!
  • Air or car travel...gotta get you here somehow!


Cancellation policy: This is non-refundable so no cancellations. Make sure you can come, want to come, & it's all good!

Pay 1/2 now, rest by October 1st Policy:
We are accepting $150 now with a 'pay the last $150' by October 1st. **Note: the $50 off for the 1st 50 people does not apply with this policy. It only applies to the full $300.

First 50 to register... get $50 off

What Hotel do you suggest?

For convenience there is a great hotel nearby with a
free shuttle to and from Spark!

going on right now for the same weekend as Spark. Cool!

Is the full amount due at registration?
On Monday August 24th at 10am mountain standard time you can start registering. There will be an option for $150 down and the rest of the $150 by October 1st.
(Unfortunately this option can't be combined with first 50 get $50 off. sorry.)

*What is included with the Spark Event Ticket?

Spark the creativity within....

We are loving the amazing journey we are taking as we plan this event! Things are coming together & we are so excited to share all the details!

I thought it would be fun to give you a little taste of the classes we are planning.
We will be offering 4 different classes that involve the creative process. & all attendees will be experiencing each class in a rotating format.

CAPTURE:
Photography class.
Everyone's process is different, but, we will show you how to look at things differently when photographing...whether you have a cell phone, point & shoot or SLR camera!
....it's all about seeing & capturing the creative spark.


REMEMBER:
Mixed Media journal/book class.
We will spark your creative process as we gather inspirations, photos, sketches, ideas...everything to spark
your creative spirit!


GATHER:
Jewelry class.
We will focus on the creative process, journey & what sparks YOU as you gather charms & other bits of creativity to wear & adorn your creative self!

FEEL:
Fabric/Sewing class.
We will explore the tactile world of fabric & create something amazing!
How about working with a yard of your favorite fabric? found materials? all the while getting your spark on!


And...just think. All of these classes will be held in these amazingly COOL, OLD & CHARMING churches, social halls & theaters at This Is The Place Village.
We'll be creating on these old, thick, chunky tables in halls filled with pillars, old wood floors, gorgeous huge windows that overlook the Salt Lake Valley...

seriously....it's breathtaking.
We are hoping it will be just the
Pièce de résistance of our creative event...sure to Spark your creative spirit!

What is Spark to me...

So...We, and when I say we I mean: Rhonna, Liz, Jefra and myself, have been working on an amazing event...Spark!

What is Spark?

Spark is a creative journey...Spark is a creative lifestyle...Spark is about being a creative woman. Spark is about being inspired by other creative women...Spark is about sharing creative ideas...Spark goes way beyond paper and glue...Spark is getting in touch with your creative spirit...Spark is going to be amazing...

How did Spark come about?

Like most creative thoughts Spark was an idea that came from a Lunch with girlfriends. Rhonna, Liz and I got together to have lunch in one of my favorite, beautiful and inspiring places...We were surrounded by inspiration and filled with ideas...And like fire the sparks flew between us and Spark the Event was born! We invited Jefra to be part of Spark and have been working on it non-stop!

Where is Spark?


Spark is going to be held in one of Utah's most beautiful settings...This is the place...And it is the place...Jefra and Rhonna found it and Liz and I went there yesterday and we know it is the place for Spark! This is the place will be a perfect setting to create and be inspired by the beautiful surroundings and history there.

Who is Spark for?
Spark is for all creative women...Spark is for women who create in any way.
Spark is for artists, for photographers, for musicians, for writers, for gardners, for decorators, for poets... Spark is for all types of creative women. As women we have a creative Spark within us, at Spark the Event we will cultivate, learn, share, extend, develop and be inspired to live a life creative...
